Asghar Farhadi was born on 1 January 1972. He is an Iranian film director and screenwriter. For his work as a director, he has received a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world by Time magazine in 2012.

Synopsis

Their old flat being damaged, Emad and Rana, a young couple living in Tehran, is forced to move into a new apartment.

An incident linked to the previous tenant will dramatically change the couple’s life.
