Director's Biography
Born in 1970 in Tehran, Alireza Amini is a graduate of stage directing. He has made more than 20 short and documentary films and he was also an assistant director to Bahman Ghobadi’s A Time for the Drunken Horses too. His debut feature film, Letters of the Wind (2002) and then his second feature film, Tiny Snowflakes (2003) were shown at many film festivals around the world, like Locarno, Pusan, Thessaloniki,… and brought him an international recognition. He made his third feature film, Time Frozen (2004) and his fourth feature, The Riverside in 2005. A Petition for God (2007) and 7 Minutes to the Fall (2010), End of the 8th Street (2011) were his other feature films. Do Not Worry Sara is his eighth feature film.

Synopsis

The film deals with Elaheh who is filming a day before her marriage for her friend, Sara, who is based abroad. She is filming her family, friends and even neighbors. Elaheh believes that this is the last day of her difficult life and after the marriage she would realize all her wishes come true. However, an incident can change her fate too.
