Director's Biography
Saman Salur (born 1976 Boroujerd) is an award winning Iranian filmmaker and screen writer. His first long movie, Residents of Silent Land won award in Kyiv International Film Festival, Ukraine. His feature film Several Kilos of Dates for Burial Ceremony won Golden Leopard and Special Prize of the Jury at Locarno International Film Festival 2006.

Synopsis

From one of Iran’s most talented young filmmakers comes this darkly comic drama about two lost souls who run a struggling gas station in a deserted area of Iran. With few customers and little in common, they spend most of their time alone except for occasional visits by the postman. When together, the three men share their dreams.
